Transform your brows at home using the Brow Code At-Home Brow Lamination Kit & Brow Code At-Home Brow Tint Kit. While each kit works perfectly on its own, this is your guide on how to combine them to achieve beautifully tinted, full and fluffy brows from the comfort of your home.
Step 1: Patch Test & Prep
First things first: safety. Complete a patch test 48-72 hours before your brow appointment. Apply a small amount of each product to the inside of your elbow or behind your ear and wait. If there’s no reaction, you’re good to go.
When it’s time to get started, cleanse your brows thoroughly with an oil-free foaming cleanser and rinse with a damp cotton pad. Dry them completely—clean brows are key to flawless results!
Step 2: Begin the Lamination Process
1. Apply the Restructuring Bond Solution (Step 1)
-
-
Use a cotton tip to apply a pea-sized amount of No. 1 Restructuring Bond Solution to each brow. Make sure the hairs are evenly coated.
-
-
-
Cover the brows with Brow Code Brow Lamination Wrap to lock everything in place.
-
-
-
Leave it on for 4-7 minutes depending on your hair type:
-
-
-
-
4–5 minutes for very fine or thin brow hairs.
-
-
-
-
-
5–6 minutes for medium brow hairs.
-
-
-
-
-
6–7 minutes for coarse or stubborn brow hair.
-
-
2. Remove the Solution
-
-
Remove the Brow Wrap and gently wipe away the solution with a dry cotton pad.
-
3. Apply the Neutralizing Setting Solution (Step 2)
-
-
Use a clean cotton tip to apply a pea-sized amount of No. 2 Neutralizing Setting Solution to both brows.
-
-
-
Brush the hairs into your desired position—this is your chance to style them! Cover with Brow Code Brow Lamination Wrap again to set the laminated direction.
-
-
-
Leave it on for another 4-7 minutes, based on your hair type.
-
-
-
Remove the Brow Wrap and use a dry cotton pad to wipe away the solution.
-
Step 3: Time to Tint
1. Mix Your Tint
-
-
Combine a pea-sized amount of tint with an equal amount of cream activator in the mixing dish. Use the application brush to blend into a creamy paste.
-
2. Apply the Tint
-
-
Carefully apply the tint to one brow at a time. Start at the tail and work towards the front.
-
-
-
Use the application brush to create clean lines, then a spoolie to blend the front of the brow upward for a natural gradient.
-
Tip: Start by stamping a line of tint along the base of the brow. Then, beginning at the tail, fill in the rest of the brow with the Tint. As you move toward the front of the brow, use a spoolie to gently blend the tint upward, creating a soft, natural gradient.
-
-
Carefully wipe away any excess tint outside the desired shape.
-
3. Timing is Everything
-
-
Laminated brows absorb tint faster, so reduce processing time to 2–4 minutes and start timing as soon as the tint is applied to the brow.
-
-
-
For a soft, gradient effect, remove the tint from the front of the brow after 1–2 minutes.
-
4. Remove the Tint
-
-
Once the time is up, wipe away the tint with a damp cotton round and repeat on the second brow.
-
Step 4: The Final Touch
Apply the No. 3 Leave-In Restorative Mask from your At-Home Brow Code Brow Lamination Kit
-
-
Finish with a pea-sized amount of No. 3 Leave-In Restorative Mask. Brush it through the brows to nourish and hydrate, leaving them looking polished and healthy.
